Birds

I really like the girl on the left's high wasited shorts and both of their shoes!
Summer and shorts are on their way!

The combination of her belt, high wasited pants, and simple tank top look wonderful.

Great hat, and I like the way the short dress looks with her shorter coat. She uses the contrasting lenghts of the garments well.

Cute shoes, socks, and coat!

What great tights and shoes! And a lovely combination of colors!

I love this girl's scarf and tights. What an elegant pose.

Blokes

I think this guy has got some style. I like his bike too! He reminds me of my dad in old photographs.

These guys look hella good.

These two fellows look pretty ridiculous. I am including this picture because of the guy on the left...from the neck up.
I really love his hat and sunglasses.

Excellent suit, excellent pussy cat.

I think he overshot on the size of his glasses but I get what he was going for and I dig it.

I love his vest! He looks like he is from a band from the 70's.

This outfit is oustanding if only by virtue of those gloves.

This man looks just like the little prince!

Anahata Katkin
This is the blog of one of my new favorite artists, Anahata Katkin. I especially like her journal pages. They remind me of the way I feel right before I fall asleep, lucid and ethereal.

Marc Owens
This is the website of Marc Owens, who I would call a conceptual artist. His creations are very revealing and allow you to explore the way you view everyday objects. I am particularly fond of his Hoarding Chair, and Receipt Clock.

Look at her hair!!!  It's its own bow!

Appropriate for Valentines day!

Very fond of the look above....
And below!

This man reminds me of the part in Yellow Submarine when they sing "When I'm 64" and become enveloped in their beards!

I like this man's hat.  He reminds me of a character from a favorite childhood movie, The Magic Pony.

Style Bubble
Recommended to me by Kara.  This is one of the most creative, interesting, and up to date fashion blogs I have come across.  "Suzie Style" relays information on everything from designers to diy ideas and even photographs many of her own outfits.  I really enjoy reading her thoughts on fashion.  She is often very funny and insightful.

Love Pad
This is the website of artist, Eveline Tarunadjaja.  Her illustrations are very beautiful and eerie.

Elissa Dunlop's Swimwear.  Check out her Fabrics under the Collections section on her website.  I absolutely love these patterns!  I think these are the first contemporary swimsuits I have been inspired by since I was in middle school!  If you follow any link from this newsletter...let it be to her website!!!

Sophia

I highly suggest that you check out Marc Jacobs' spring collections.  I especially liked this outfit. (Pictured in the middle on the model).  I find his designs so inspiring and fantastic!  They really capture an elegant and elusive aesthetic.

A favorite company of mine, Free People, now has a very creative blog.  They feature recipes, musical acts, new designs, and interactive craft ideas.  I am participating in a Valentine's day swap where I will hand make someone a gift and they will make me something and we will mail our surprises to one another!  This website highlights the company's most beautiful and creative endeavors.
